He has taught me so much and also taught me a lot about myself. i feel like i am a different person now. i have grown up a lot and he has pushed me to open up and also try new things. he has such an amazing spirit and a great fun personality and so much fun to be around. he attracts attention wherever he goes and knows so many people, he is an amazing dancer and has taught professionally. he served his mission in Boston. He has played Rugby since high school and played on the BYU team last year and won the championship. he has so many talents and opportunities to go far in life. I love him so much. Its such a crazy story and we have been through so much already together. We are going to get married in the Salt Lake Temple and we are going to stay in Massachusetts. I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with the love of my life, my sweetheart, my best friend, my tuchii tuchii!!!

Summer Time

WOW!!! A lot has happened in the past couple months. I hope I can remember everything. My job is still going great. Its a great place to work. I'm never bored and always busy! I get along really well with my co-workers. I made two really nice fun friends named Ashley and Elizabeth. They are both non members but we have a lot in common and hang out and get a long really well. They ask me questions about the church all the time. Its fun to talk about what I believe and do. They have been told some really funny things about Mormons!! like we can't eat chocolate or caffeine. I told them that we can have chocolate and caffeine. I was really surprised when I heard some of those things. lol
I broke up with Pete a month ago. It just wasn't going to work out. We were on two totally different pages and levels. He distanced himself from me from the day I moved out here. I was not happy and was sick of not being myself.
But funny thing is.... I met a guy the week I moved out here at a ward activity/dance. We were both dating other people at the time. When I saw him I was like.....wow....He is so freaking handsome! So, while my ex was ignoring me as usual, I went and talked to him and another guy. The three of us hung out for a while. I found out that the one I was interested in had a girlfriend. I new she was a lucky girl to catch him!! Well, a couple few weeks later, I was having another hard day so I went with Rhonda and her mom to get there hair done so I wasn't sitting at home crying. When I got in the car, guess who was in there as well....Diego! I didn't recognize him because he had a beard and long hair cause he hadn't shaved in a few weeks and he was working for Gini next door! When I got in the car, he imediately made conversation and we talked while Gini was taking him home. I was so impressed about how he talked about his girl at the time, and such a hard worker he is. Well, long story short, a couple weeks later he broke up with his girl because she didn't know what she wanted and was going to spain. I must admit, when I found out they broke up I felt bad, but was glad inside...lol
I new things weren't going well with Pete and I. I was tired of being unhappy and not being treated nice. At this point I hadn't seen Pete in a month. He wouldn't return my calls or come over, so with no other choice I texted him and ended things. So I changed my status on FB and then Diego started writing me and gave me his number. When I was in Palmyra he texted me the whole time and asked me out. So now we are dating. Can I just say I haven't been this happy in so long! He treats me so amazingly and would do anything to be with me and for me. We hit it off so fast. I feel like I have known him for more than a month. We love spending time together and just being with each other no matter where we are. We get a long really well and can talk about anything. I can totally be myself around him. Everything has been so natural.
So far this summer I have been to Palmyra, and saw the pageant, sacred grove,Boston temple doing baptisms, spent the fourth of July with my friend Martha up in Boston. So far its been a great summer. Also I bought a new car, but when I was driving back from Connecticut last week, the engine died and the motor is locked up...my warranty was over my miles and the dealer wouldn't do anything. So now I have to pay for it. But luckily, Diego said he would help me out. How nice is that. I didn't even ask. Well, that is the update for me!

Something New

So things are going really good out here! My new job is so busy and i'm always learning new things. I will never be bored with this job for sure!! Everyone in the office is so nice and we have fun and work at the same time which is nice too! My ward is really cool too. I had to give a talk in church yesterday, i got a calling(activities committee), and i also have to teach relief society in two weeks!! Can you say..... holy cow!!!! they are definitely using me for what ever they can sqweeze out of me! LOL but i don't mind at all. i like to be involved in new things and meet new people. I know that this is where the Lord wants me to be right now. I'm so grateful for the gospel and how it has blessed me in my life.

Moving On Up To The East Side

I'm moving!!! I got the job at a home health care company called Options. I leave on Wednesday!!!! AAHHHH!!!!! I can't believe I'm moving!! I'm still in shock!! It hit me yesterday when I had family night with my family that I won't see them for a really long time!! I'm pretty sad about that. I'm sure it will hit HARD when I go there!! I'm way exited though!! I'm exited to have a new job, meet new people, and experience new things. This will be a BIG adventure. I know what you are thinking.....SHE IS CRAZY!!! But, this feels right. I've been praying really hard about this for a while and decided that I'm going to do it. I know that I would regret not going while I have the chance. I'm exited to learn new things and grow a lot from this experience. I will post regularly and have pictures on facebook, and maybe some on here if I have time. LOL

Massachusetts!!!!!!!!!

I'm having so much fun!! I love it here! There are so many different kinds of people here! And there accents are so awesome! LOL I can't wait to move here. There are no mountains here, but the trees are so pretty. I bet summer here will be beautiful. Everyone that I have met has been very friendly and inviting. I've been staying with Pete at the house he lives at with a family. There name is the Giossi's. They are so nice to let me stay with them while I was here. I was able to meet Pete's family a few times and have easter dinner with them. They are all so nice and welcoming! I loved how they all gave me a hug when I walked in the door.
So far I have met some of his friends and family. We went to Boston one day and spent the day there. It was a blast! We went to the aquarium and then had dinner at legal seefoods, then went and saw Avitar in 3D at the IMAX theater. It was so cool! tomorrow we are going to New Port and spending the day there. Pete arranged for us to take a tour of the oldest mansion on one of the strips. I'm so exited! Tonight we are going to cape cod and having dinner with one of our friends. We were able to watch conference at the stake center near here and I met some of his friends there. I'm going to his ward on Sunday too. That should be tons of fun! Pete and I played tennis the other day. That was fun too! I'm not very good, so he had to teach me how to do everything. I'm greatful he was so patient with me. LOL
I also had two interviews this week with the same company for a secretary position. I really hope that I get it. I think if that if I don't get it, its becaus they are in a hurry to find someone and I told them that I would have to go home and pack and quit my job and then I could be here in about three weeks. So if they are willing to wait for me then that would be amazing!! I'm praying a lot! But even if I don't get it, I still want to move here. I'll have to post some pictures soon when I get back.

Fun and Frightening

I think that I want to start a recipe blog....I think that would be fun! I love cooking and that is how I relax. I feel like I accomplished something when I do that because I can see it and people usually enjoy it after. Well, that is my thought for the day.
Also, I think I have a hormonal imbalance and or a thyroid imbalance that I need to get checked out on. I haven't been feeling myself for a long time and I think that is why. Anyone know of any good doctors? Also, maybe a physical??!?!?! I have never had one, but I'm 25 so maybe its about time that I did get myself checked out. That kind of freaks me out!! Ok...that was my second thought of the day.

2/26/10

Delights,Decisions, and Dissapointment

So, to start out with for Valentines Day Pete sent me the most gorgeous flowers!! I was so surprised and soooo happy! I have never had a guy send me flowers before. And they had gerbera daisies which are my favorite flower. I'll post a picture soon! I sent him a box with a rice pack and a ice pack that i made and also some butterfingers and a bag of hugs and kisses...since its Valentines Day.
Ok...it finally happened....they blocked face book at my work!! Why and who would do such a cruel thing? That is unacceptable!!!! I intend to protest!!!! Also I had an interview for a different position in the company in the travel department. The manager in that department said he wanted me and he wanted me to start Monday. But my supervisor in the department where I am at now said that I can't go....I'm kind of confused... They advertise in-house hiring and it shouldn't be a big deal, but they are making it one. I think if I want to change positions its not a big deal. So long story short, I don't think I can have the position until they hire more people to replace me...which means they would need to hire about three people to cover everything that I do. But the silly thing is they already have two people to cover my reception job. So, until they hire more people I can't move....SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!
Why is it that every time I try to move up in the company someone has to get in my way?!?!?! Also, the computer that I bought from my company isn't working!!!! AHHHH!!!!! WHY OH WHY IS EVERYTHING AGAINST ME??!!!??! And they haven't fixed it yet and its been two weeks, and its the second time I have had to bring it in... So, I've actually had to bring it in and have it fixed more than I have actually used it! LAME SAUCE!!!
OK....number 53 comment....If I don't get this job then I am going to apply to a salon in American Fork that pays hourly so that I can save up for when I move to Boston...which I am hoping and praying works out. At this point I don't see how it won't work out. I'm going out there in four weeks!!!!!!! I'm soooooo freakin exited!!!! There is so much that I want to do when I go out there. But most of all I want to spend time with Pete. Things are going really well fyi!!! I like him a lot!!! This will be a great experience for me. And an adventure. I've never flown by myself before...and gone a vacation by myself before either! I haven't even been on a road trip! What's up with that??? Apparently, I don't get out very much....LOL
So...other than that, things are going well. I'm healthy, I have a new calling in my ward. I'm on the compassionate service committee. I'm actually really exited!! I've always wanted this calling! I think it would be so much fun to get to know other girls in the ward and reach out to them and encourage them to come to activities and see if they need anything. I also got my car paid off last month so no more car payment!! That is pretty exiting!! well, that's about it for now... I'm done venting....

A new year

Wow, so much has happened in the past month!!!! Pete came down for my birthday!! It was so much fun! He made me breakfast for my birthday, then I showed him the Draper and Oquirrh Mountain Temples, then he took me to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. The next day we went to lunch at Tocanno's because I had a free meal coupon for my birthday, then went bowling that night with some of his friends. Then later that night we pulled the boys around on a snowboard tied to the back of a Jetta around Provo(not on main roads). That was super fun! I got some of that on video. Then on Saturday we spent the day up in salt lake walking around temple square and seeing this is the place monument, had lunch and dinner at gate way, saw the Joseph smith movie and enjoyed the view from the top of the building, then went hot tubing. It was so much fun. I really like him a lot. He is such a great guy and i miss him tons. I like everything about him and I enjoy learning new things each day. He makes me want to be a better person in so many ways. I love that he has goals and that he is so strong in the church and has such a strong testimony. He would do anything for anyone. He knows what he wants and knows how to get it...aka...ME!!! LOL He is an awesome cook and plays the piano so much better than I do..but he can't even read music. He just hears it and then plays...that is so cool. I can't wait to go out there in a couple months and see him. I love it out there. I love the history and the culture. Its so different than here in happy valley.
Well, That's about all...oh wait!! I got a mini promotion at my job. I am the new part time receptionist and I love it! I work 8-5 now. I don't know what I'm going to do about the salon. I think I'll just do clients at home or their homes. Ok..I'm done now...

Flowers and Swiss Rolls

I've been having a rough couple of days and I was just about at my breaking point today. But, around lunch time when I was at work, I saw someone walking in with flowers. When she got closer, I realized it was Sarah, Martha's sister. She gave me flowers and swiss rolls from Martha!!! All I can say it totally took me by surprise and made my day. I really needed that. No one has ever gotten me flowers before,or had them delivered! That was extra special. Thank you Martha for all that you do and for being such a great friend and always being there for me. Its great to know who your true friends are, even if they are 2000 miles away.
The thing with the swiss rolls is we were having a previous conversation and she asked me if I was at her house relaxing, what I would be eating at that time and I told her swiss rolls, ice cream and pizza. I thought that was very sneaky! lol I'm so greatful for friendship and love from others. I'm extreemly greatful that I was able to serve in the Relief Society Presidency with Martha and get to know her and become great friends. You never know how you can brighten someone's day by doing simple acts of kindness. Its great to know that someone cares about you. She was my angel looking out for me today.
I'm also trying to find a job to move out there, so please pray for me that it will work out. I love the east coast! It is so pretty out there! I especially love Maine. If you have ever been to the east coast, you would know what i'm talking about. There is so much character in the architecture and in the cities and the people. I think it is much prettier than the west coast, but also very different. I think it would be a great opportunity for me to experience new things, new places and new people.

New year, new adventures, new life

Well, lets see what is new....Christmas was super fun. I got what I wanted, which was a crock pot and a battery powered screw driver. Two very different things but I really wanted them. You always need them and you can find great uses for each of them. I also got some old movies that I grew up on, a gas card, potato masher, cook books, recipe cards, and of course candy. Dad got me a flying monkey this year for our toy. Its so funny! I spent new years with my friend Tiffany and Rachelle and her husband up in Bountiful. We had a lot of fun drinking Martinellis Cider. LOL I'm still looking for a better paying job. It looks like I'm not moving at the moment. I'll be owning my car this month free and clear! I'm so exited! NO more debt!! That is such a nice feeling! Pete is coming in about two weeks. I'm super exited! We will see how things end up going. But either way, we will be great friends. I'll try to upload pictures from Christmas asap. I really need to get better at doing that. Oh ya, I got a new lap top!! I love it! It works so much better and faster! It was badly needed.
I have a few new years resolutions, but they are not the typical. The main ones that I will mention are make someone smile every day, go to the temple at least once a month. I figure I can't go to wrong with those. If I try to do the whole loose 15 pounds I don't think it will happen. So I will say get more tone because muscle weighs more than fat so a number isn't to important. Another one is be optimistic for the future and look for the good in others. The rest of my new years resolutions are personal but I'm really hoping things work out.

Pray for me please!!!!

I applied for a reception job yesterday and got an email this morning wanting to set up an interview! I'm so exited!!!!! I really hope I get this job, because that would mean I don't have to move home and I will be making almost double what I make now!!! Please pray for me!!! You have no idea what that would mean if I was able to get it. Thank you!!!

11/30/09

Thanksgiving was so much fun! It was so fun to have all of the family together. I don't think that we have had everyone together in a few years. We also did family pictures which was nice because we haven't done that in about six years!! So long ago. Our family has gotten so big since then. I can't wait to one day start a family of my own. Last night I got to hold a friends baby who was only 5lbs.!!! So CUTE and tiny!!! I really got baby hungry. I love this time of year!!
Also, when I went to Boston, I met a guy out there who is a friend of Martha's. So, we talk almost every day and he is coming out to visit me for my birthday! I'm so exited!!!!! His name is Peter, but I call him Pete. He is cute, super nice and soooo funny!! He just bought me a web cam so I can now talk to him, and see him. We are talking through Skype, but my computer doesn't have everything. I can see and hear him, but he can't see or hear me! I think its funny, but I guess he was getting impatient and frustrated so he just bought me one! lol He seems like a really good guy. Nothing is official yet dating wise. We are just taking things slow and getting to know each other. I'm exited for him to see his Christmas present. I'm pretty sure he will love it!
I'm glad I know what I'm getting everyone this year! No stress = more fun!! Things are going well in my new ward. They are all nice people. Still looking for another job. And that about raps it up!!

10/27/09

I finally uploaded a current picture of me! After how long of having a blog! I know..I know... you think I would have figured it out by now! sheesh!

ME!!!

Catch Up Time

Wow, so much has happened in the past little while. I am now single and loving it! I'm so grateful for my family and friends who stood by me and helped me. I'm so grateful for the gospel and spirit and how it has helped me...even though I am to nice and stubborn at times. I don't like to hurt other peoples feelings which can usually get me in a pickle because I don't stand up for myself. I'm learning this.......again... ugh!! Sometimes I even frustrate myself because you think that I would have learned by now. Well, that is what experiences are for....even though they are hard.

Well, I moved into my new house and it is so fun. This is totally the party house. My roommates are the social spotlight of the ward and we have people over at least 4 times a week if not more and have game night at my house every Sunday. Its way fun, but also is really frustrating at times because I can hear everything that is going on because we have hollow walls and wood floors which are so thin I can here a conversation from down stairs in my room! Solution..... ear plugs.... and they are pink!! lol

I just got back from Boston on Tuesday. It was so much fun! It was the shortest vacation ever! I wish I could go back. I would love to live there some day. I went to visit my friend Martha with my friend Lindsey and her cousin Carli. We went to Salem, RI, did the freedom trail, saw the USS constitution, Mayflower, cliff walk in RI, and of course Boston common, and the gardens. I even got to go to Cheers! Its now a restaurant with a kids menu.. but still a bar. lol I know weird huh... but still cool. I took so many pictures but I don't have a cable to my computer, so I can't put on any until I get one or find someone who has one...anyone.. anyone?

I am now an aunt again for the 24th time! Jeni had little Brennen who is so cute... of course the day I left.... so mad!! I can't wait to go see him! I'm so exited! I just love my big family. I wouldn't have it any other way. I hope I can have a nice size family as well. I can't wait to find my man and marry in the temple for eternity and raise a family in the gospel. Get that...MY man! lol jk.

I'm now looking for a new ward as well... the guy I broke up got a job at my work while I was in Boston.....so now he is in my ward, he works right next to me, he goes to every activity. So it is almost impossible for me to move on..or him either....ugh! So frustrating!! Can you say stalker!!!..... at least that is what it seems like.

I am also now full time at my morning job with Stores Online. So now I work there 7-3 then at the Salon in American Fork from 3:30-7. Long hours and really tired feet. I need a foot massage... any offers??? Better yet a full body one would be much better! Well, any ways.. things are going well. I have my amazing family, two jobs, a place to live, my health, the gospel, a car, HG, awesome friends... life is so good! Well, this is a lot of catching up to do so I'll stop writing a novel now. I promise I will post pictures some time..hopefully sooner than later. Love you all!!

8/3/09

Wow a lot has happened. I moved into a new house on Saturday still in Orem. But I don't get to live there till this next Saturday. they are remodeling the house for us. How nice is that? So i'm living at my parents for a bit. The house I was living at was fun but the roomate situatation got a little out of hand and I needed to move out. They were being very rude to me and i didn't like being treated that way. So now I'm moving in with some other girls. I think this will be a much better situation, even though we all have strong opinions. ha ha lol. it will be fun. We are all very real and honest. So ya...... My ward is still awesome and I love it! There are so many people getting married! I have two bridal showers in the next week. CRAZY!!! Any ways, this whole boy thing is so complicated. We aren't offically dating at the moment but we are not dating other people... its complicated... mostly on my part... maybe I'm just scared and need to give this realationship a chance. I don't know. whatever!! lol. I'm just going with the flow and seeing how things are going. Honestly they are going really well. We have so much in common and even finish each others sentences! Its really fun and wierd at the same time. Oh ya! Only one more month and i'm going to Boston!! I'm so exited I can't wait! Its going to be a blast!

6/29/09

So its been a long weekend. I broke up with my boyfriend on Saturday. He is having a really hard time understanding this because he is just a recent convert as of three months ago. He doesn't understand that when it doesn't feel right to end things, and that its the spirit telling you those things. I feel bad that he doesn't understand, but I don't want to lead him on. He wanted to start over and take things slower if that was the case, but I told him that isn't how it works. I wanted to give him a chance because I'm just so dang nice! UUHH the curse! He is a super sweet, nice guy, but he needs to understand that I want certain things and I'm not willing to settle. He new of a lot of things that I wanted but he wasn't willing to compromise or work on those things if it was going to go further, which is why I ended it. I think this must have been a mini test for me to see if I was willing to give in at all and settle or listen to the whisperings of the spirit, and family and friends. I will let you know that I'm not willing to settle. I feel bad that I had to do that, but not bad enough, which is probably a big sign that it definately wasn't right. I wasn't head over heals for him at all. I know what I want and if I have to date a dozen more guys to get it right then I guess I will..... but I hope and pray that I don't have to!! We are still really good friends and probably will be for a while.

Well, on a better, happier, postivie note.... I'm going to Boston in September!!! WAHOOO!!! I'm so freakin exited! My friend Lindsey called me on Friday and said she found tickets for $200 round trip! How awesome is that! So we are going together! My friend Martha moved out there in March so I'm going to stay with her while I'm there. I'm going a whole week and I'm so exited to see her. I still can't believe that I'm going! I better start saving some money so I can do things while I'm there! I love the Boston temple, let me just tell you that! It is so beautiful! This is going to be a BLAST!!! I know I'm going to get picture happy again!!! I need to learn to control my fingers!!

6/18/09

Hey, sorry its been a while. I've been so busy lately! Last week I went up to Logan with my ward and we went to Martin Harris' grave, boating, kayaking, tubing, and I camped outside. It was a blast! But the highlight of that trip for me was the Oquire Mountain Temple open house. It was so beautiful and the spirit was so strong. I think I had a perma-smile the whole time and the rest of the day. It was such a neat experience. I teared up a little to...little week me! I can't wait till I'm able to go through the temple and receive my endowments and one day get married. I know that will be the greatest experience. I can't tell you enough how much I love to feel the spirit. I'm greatful that I'm worthy to go to the temple and do baptisms. I'm trying to do better. I haven't gone in a month and I know I can do better than that. Well, other than that not much is going on. Tomorrow I'm going to the Joseph Smith movie up in Salt Lake with my boyfriend and another couple. I'm SSSOOOOO exited! I ball every time I see it. Also On Saturday I'm going to be running in the Strawberry Days 5K....can you believe me...running a 5K? I know... weird. But I have never done something like this before, which is one reason I'm doing it. Plus its not that far. Hopefully tomorrow I'll also be going to the Strawberry Days rodeo with a bunch of people. I love rodeo's! They are so fun!!

5/7/09

Last week I was able to go to woman's conference with my Mom and my two sister's Andrea and Diana. It was such an awesome experience. I learned so much about being who I want to become and being an example to my family. I learned how to prepare for my future family and what I need to do to be organized. Also how to listen to the spirit and act on those promptings. I learned a lot from my older sisters as well. Just being around them I'm able to learn and pick up such great ideas. I hope that some day I can become a mom and wife like all of my sisters, and especially my Mom.

4/6/09

General Conference was sooooooo amazing this year!! For some reason I was really emotional and cried a lot. I loved all of the talks, but one of my favorite was D. Todd Christopherson. His talk was so insightful and I learned so much about the most basic things, but in a different way. It was fun to see how other people interpret things. The spirit was so strong. I just loved it!!! Elder Holland's talk was also so good!! It was a great Easter talk on the Savior and it was just so awesome! This year I was spiritually fed and I loved it! I must have been craving it really bad.
Also I gave a talk a couple weeks ago on the restoration. That is one of my favorite topics because last October I was able to go on a church history tour with my parents and sister. I learned so much about the restoration and the church and about Joseph Smith and what he went through to restore the gospel and all of the persecution he had to withstand. I would love to do that again someday....hopefully with my own family.
